Fostering

Katherine Heigl

Foster families enable us to pull animals from shelters who are at risk of being euthanized. Foster families provide a safe, temporary home for animals while they recover from illness, injury or the stress of sheltering, and await their new forever home. Foster families are able to provide individualized care to each animal and to learn about the animal's unique personality.

This knowledge helps us to determine the best possible match for every animal with their new family and ensure success in their new home. Fostering animals is not only invaluable to us and the animals, it is extremely rewarding for the foster families.

Fostering is lifesaving, and gives animals a second chance that they might not otherwise have had.

If you are located in Los Angeles or surrounding areas and are interested in fostering, please complete the form below and a member of staff will contact you to discuss your application. The information you provide in the application will help our foster coordinators match you with the best animal for your lifestyle, experience and schedule, and the animal's individual needs.

If you have any questions, please check out our Foster FAQs, or email us at info@jasonheigl.foundation.
