Apollo, a 9 month old Hound / Labrador rescued by the Heigl Foundation found his forever home with owner Rick Merkow. The lucky canine now gets to hang out with new brother and play mate Zeppelin, and the two dogs are best of friends.

“Apollo really feels he is home and he smiles every time I come through the door. I’m very happy he is part of the family,” Rick said in an email to the Heigl Foundation, attaching photos of the pup in his new home.
