The City of Irvine’s 6th Annual Super Pet Adoption event took place last Sunday and we were in attendance with the Heigl Hounds for a record breaking day which saw 353 dogs, cat and rabbits find their forever homes. The first mobile spay/neuter day funded by the Heigl Ray Of Hope program took place on April 28 at Baldwin Park, CA. The event was a great success, with a large turn out for the initiative which offers free spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats in cities serviced by the Baldwin Park Shelter. In total, 38 animals were spayed or neutered in just a few hours, kicking off a number of mobile surgery days planned during the coming year.
