A few weeks ago the Tulare Animal Shelter held a groundbreaking ceremony with a difference for a new 7800 sq ft interactive play and exercise area for puppies and dogs. Thanks in part to a $12,500 donation from the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, Tulare Animal Services is to construct a play and exercise area for large dogs, small dogs and puppies at its shelter. The money will allow prospective owners to walk the animals, which will not only help to increase their chances of adoption, but will be beneficial to their general welfare.
