Adoption
At the Jason Heigl Foundation, our rescue team is dedicated to saving vulnerable dogs from high‑kill shelters across Southern California. Many arrive having endured neglect, abandonment, or abuse, and are in urgent need of compassion and healing.
Every dog receives comprehensive medical care — from emergency treatment and rehabilitation to ongoing support that restores their health and spirit. All adult dogs are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and groomed. Puppies too young for sterilization are adopted with a refundable deposit, ensuring they are spayed or neutered at the appropriate age. For dogs needing extra support, we provide professional training to build confidence and basic obedience skills.
Our goal is simple: to give each dog the best possible start to their new life and prepare them for a smooth transition into a loving home.
By opening your heart and home, you’re giving a dog a second chance and becoming part of their journey — from rescue to recovery to family.
They may come to you battered and broken, but their capacity for forgiveness and love is nothing short of extraordinary.Anonymous
