DESCRIPTION
Ranger is a young Belgian Malinois with a truly extraordinary story. He came to us in January in critical condition after being hit by a car, suffering multiple fractures and severe injuries. He had been scheduled for euthanasia due to the extent of his trauma, but we knew he deserved a chance. Throughout his surgeries, treatments, and long recovery, Ranger was the perfect gentleman. He tolerated every bandage change, every exam, and every moment of care with patience and a gentle, trusting spirit. His orthopedic surgeon has now fully cleared him, and he has made a complete recovery.
At approximately ten months old and weighing about fifty‑eight pounds, Ranger is not only stunning to look at but also has a wonderful temperament. He LOVES people and thrives on one‑on‑one attention. He is eager to please, very easy to handle, crate trained, and rides well in the car. He walks nicely on leash and does well in public settings. He has been around other dogs and walks comfortably alongside them, though he has not been turned loose for group play. Due to his high energy level, he is not recommended for homes with small children, small dogs, or cats.
Ranger would do best with adopters familiar with the Belgian Malinois breed who can continue his obedience training and provide the structure, activity, and engagement he enjoys. After everything he has survived, Ranger is ready for a home that will appreciate his resilience, intelligence, and affectionate nature. He is available to adopt in the Greater Los Angeles area and is more than ready to become someone’s devoted companion.
