Where Are They Now?

Where Are They Now?

When we first interact with rescued animals, they are often frightened by new surroundings and an unsure future, so it always brightens our day to hear from the individuals or families that have adopted our four-legged friends to find out how they are faring in their new homes. Baldwin Park Howl-o-ween Adoption Day

Baldwin Park Howl-o-ween Adoption Day

This Sunday (October 27th), the Baldin Park Shelter is holding a Howl-o-ween Adoption Day between 10am and 5pm, where there will be over 500 amazing pets just waiting to grab hold of your heart. The Heigl Foundation has teamed up with the county to pick up 100% of the adoption fees at the event, so the cost to you will be zero. That’s right, this weekend not only can you find that perfect pet for your family and save a life, but the adoption process will not cost a penny!

A Life Saving Journey: North Shore Animal League Transport Partnership

A Life Saving Journey: North Shore Animal League Transport Partnership

Did you know that Heigl Foundation conducts regular transports from high kill shelters in Los Angeles to no kill facilities elsewhere in the US and Canada? In this reallocation of resources, we find animals that would be killed and bring them to other cities where there are lines waiting for our adorable adoptables! We have partners throughout the US and Canada.

Help Name Our Adorable New Kitten!

Siamese Kitten

A second new addition arrived at the Heigl Foundation office on Monday. Hot on the heels of our first office cat Lucky Panda, came an adorable kitten rescued from the Baldwin Park Shelter where she had been slated for euthanasia. The only problem, she doesn’t have a name! We need your help to decide!
