Pet Care Foundation Adoption Event

Come find your new best friend Sunday, December 4th from 11 AM to 3 PM at Roxbury Park. The Pet Care Foundation a.k.a. Pets 90210 will host their biggest pet adoption event to date with LA City, LA County, Bark Avenue Foundation, and others all in attendance with their beautiful, adorable and very adoptable cats and dogs. Unconditional love will be waiting anxiously for you!

Get Your Licks On Route 66

The JDHF joined the Bark Avenue Foundation and North Shore Animal League’s 3rd Annual "Get Your Licks On Route 66" event in downtown LA on Saturday. The event was held in honor of Puppy Mill Awareness Day and to promote the importance of adopting pets from shelters. The gathering on Main Street attracted a number of rescue groups who brought along highly adoptable dogs, cats and bunnies. Key advocates in the rescue community spoke at the event, which was also supported by celebrity animal lovers.

Saturday, September 17 is national Puppy Mill Awareness Day 2011 and the JDHF will be supporting Bark Avenue Foundation and the North Shore Animal League at the 3rd Annual "Get Your Licks On Route 66" Adoption and Puppy Mill Awareness event in downtown Los Angeles. Join celebrity animal lovers such as Elaine Hendrix (Joan of Arcadia, Friends) and Orlando Brown (The Jamie Foxx Show, That’s So Raven) at the event and adopt a rescued cat, dog or bunny to support Puppy Mill Awareness.

Do They Know It’s Christmas

Bark Avenue Foundation Transport

On December 13, volunteers from the Bark Avenue Foundation and many locals arrived at the Kern County Animal Shelter to rescue 76 dogs from euthanasia and transport them to safety. For the lucky Chihuahuas, Terriers, Pomeranians and other small breed dogs who were loaded onto a van and driven to the Northwest Organization For Animal Help (N.O.A.H), in Washington State the journey represented a second chance at life.
