Fighting Kennel Cough In San Bernardino

San Bernardino Animal Care Receives $7,000 Grant

The Foundation and the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation have teamed up to fight kennel cough! The City of San Bernandino Animal Control will receive a $7000 Bordetella grant to fight the disease, which will provide vaccinations to immunize approximately 2,800 dogs. The contagious nature of the Bordetella means that shelter pets, particularly older animals and puppies with weaker immune systems are at greatest risk. PetFinder’s generous donation will be a life saver.
