Launching The Fall 5000 Campaign & Pets To Patriots Program

Pets To Patriots

At the press conference to launch the Los Angeles Animal Alliance’s Fall 5000 Campaign on Friday, the JDHF represented by Nancy, Meg and Katherine Heigl and executive director Kathy Davis, announced the Pets To Patriots initiative, a program which will provide no-cost adoptions for veterans at participating shelters in the Greater Los Angeles area. This initiative is a small token of our appreciation to the legion of heroes who have given so much.

Pets To Patriots Promotion & Fall 5000 Campaign Press Conference

On Friday, November 4th, the Los Angeles Animal Alliance will hold a press conference to announce The Fall 5000 campaign. The campaign kicks off November 4-6 with a Super Adoption at 20 animal shelters across 5 counties, featuring discounts, giveaways and personalized attention to adopters. At the event the JDHF, will also announce the Pets to Patriots promotion, which provides no-cost adoptions to veterans. The promotion is one of the highlights of The Fall 5000 and will be offered at participating shelters.

Heigl Foundation Donates $30,000 To Fund No Cost Adoptions For Veterans

In memory of Frederick John Debus and in conjunction with the Los Angeles Animal Alliance’s Pets to Patriots Program, the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation has donated $30,000 to fund no cost pet adoptions for veterans in honor of their service to our great country. There are 22.7 million Veterans in our country today. Every one of them deserves our generous thanks for defending our liberty and preserving our freedom.
