The Jason Debus Heigl Foundation has received a $75,000 grant from television personality, bestselling author and animal rights advocate Rachael Ray to support our ongoing efforts to stem the pet overpopulation crisis. Ray made the presentation to Katherine Heigl live on the "Rachael Ray" syndicated show February 15th.

Katherine Heigl & Rachael Ray Announce Fundraising Partnership on The Rachael Ray Show

Longtime supporters of animal rights – daytime host and bestselling author Rachael Ray and actress Katherine Heigl – have joined forces to address the pet overpopulation crisis. Rachael has made a $150,000 donation to support the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation in funding spay/neuter initiatives directly aimed at reducing the number of unwanted, yet highly adoptable and loving, pets abandoned or relinquished to municipal shelters and subsequently euthanized.
