Joanna wrote in to tell us about how she had bonded with her dog Chance after meeting the lovable Heigl Hound.

Chance has to be the most affectionate, loving, laid back dog I have ever had. When I first saw Chance prior to adopting him, he came right up to me and started rubbing his body on my legs. I knew at that moment that I needed to give this dog a good home. Immediately I started getting things together, and had things ready to welcome Chance into my home.
We walk twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. We go on hikes in the Angeles National Forest every month as a treat for both of us. He definitely enjoys socializing with other odors while on walks and at the dog park. We enjoy laying out at the beach, because Chance isn’t used to the water yet. He gets great compliments from other people and other dog owners about how handsome and how well behaved he is. He keeps me company all the time by sitting right next to me or laying beside my bed. He is definitely one of the best things that has happened to me in my life.
