A small, adorable Staffordshire / Boston Terrier mix that the Heigl Foundation rescued from the Los Angeles city shelter, Buttons (now known as Karly) has made a huge difference to lives of Karen Unverzagt’s family members.
We adopted Karly (formerly Buttons) a little over a year ago now. She is my son’s companion and best friend! She came highly recommended by one of your trainers after I explained my son’s special needs (autism). We have had zero issues at home with her. She plays well with all the kids in my family, from small to large, knowing instinctively who she has to be gentle with and who she can get feisty with! What can I say is that Karly is an AWESOME dog and I can’t imagine not having her! BEST decision I ever made adopting her.
I’ve attached a few pictures that I had handy. Sorry if I sent too many but she is pretty darn cute and I’m proud to show her off.
