It has been a busy start to the year for the Heigl Foundation, and for Marshmallow or Mel as he is affectionately known, a 7 month old puppy rescued from a Los Angeles shelter, 2018 has already been life changing. Discover his amazing and heartwarming story.

Cat’s Pride today announced its national “Litter for Good” program as part of its long-term commitment to help save America’s shelter cats through partnerships with and donations to animal welfare organizations across the country. Cat’s Pride is also continuing to partner with Katherine Heigl to help promote the program.

Adorable puppies Lenny and Squiggy are the two latest additions to the Heigl Hounds of Hope, our internal rescue group which saves vulnerable dogs from high kill shelters in Southern California. The pit bull and chihuahua duo have quickly become the best of friends!

Recently, we were once again faced with that decision pet owners everywhere know all too well. You may remember a couple of our social media posts about Henry, our “fospice” Heigl Hound of Hope. Henry came to us nearly two years ago from a busy Los Angeles area shelter where he was observed having seizures.
