Meet Archee – a sweet 4-year-old purebred Dachshund looking for a second chance at a forever home.

Archee’s story began in heartbreak—he was abandoned as a tiny puppy, stuffed into a backpack at just 8 weeks old. Thankfully, a kind woman rescued him and gave him a loving home. But life has thrown another curveball: his beloved owner, after losing her husband to cancer, is now facing serious health challenges and can no longer care for him.

Through it all, Archee’s spirit has stayed strong. He’s a good dog with a big heart, full of personality and charm. Archee absolutely loves going for walks and could happily chase a ball for hours. He’s playful, intelligent, and thrives when he’s the center of attention.

Because of his sensitive nature, Archee would do best in a home with adults or older teens who understand his boundaries and give him the space he needs to feel comfortable.

Archee has been waiting patiently for someone to give him the stable, loving home he deserves. He is available for adoption in either Utah or the Greater Los Angeles area.
