Meet Peter! Peter was found wandering the streets of Lancaster, California. As reported by Peter’s rescuer/foster family:
“When Peter was approached with half a treat and bowl of water, he came towards us and was very friendly, ate the treat, drank the water and willingly walked with us to our car. He knew he was safe that day and was so happy that he wasn’t wondering in the street that he thanked us with his kisses all day long. We took Peter to the vet and found out that he had a microchip. Unfortunately, the previous owner was keeping Peter in the backyard and couldn’t take care of him anymore. They mentioned Peter is a very sweet dog, gets along with small dogs and gives friendly chases to cats.
“Peter’s foster family has three (3) small dogs and a cat. At his foster home, Peter gets along great with small dogs; he is friendly and loves playing with them. He is a perfect dog to go on a hike with. He likes kids. He was previously in the house with 10-year-old girl and gives kisses to kids when he sees them.
“Peter knows basic commends (seat, stay, etc.) and he is quick learner. He is house trained and will let you know if needs to go to the bathroom. Peter loves getting attention, giving kisses and getting a massage. He is a gentle dog with people and small dogs. Peter would be perfect for a household that has a small dog or can be the only dog. But Peter would do best in a home without other large dogs.”
Peter is located in Ontario, California. He is already neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on his vaccinations.
