Last weekend the Heigl Foundation teamed up with Nuzzles and Co. for a special spay/neuter and vaccination clinic at the Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation in Ibapah, Utah.
The JDHF sponsored event took place over two days on September 29-30, and thanks to the dedication of staff and volunteers from our partner Nuzzles and Co. a total of 82 animals were sterilized and 95 pets received vaccinations. A food pantry and animal supply giveaway was also held for the local community. (more…)
Our internal rescue group the Heigl Hounds Of Hope saves vulnerable dogs from high kill shelters – many of whom have suffered from neglect, abandonment and abuse. Recently, pet photographer Shayley Dupaix visited the Foundation ranch in Utah to meet some of our rescued pups.
She kindly donated her time and talents to help our efforts to find forever homes for our four legged friends by capturing some wonderful pet pawtraits. The results were truly amazing and her photographs really highlight the individual characteristics and personalities of the dogs. (more…)
It has been a busy start to the year for the Heigl Foundation, and for Marshmallow or Mel as he is affectionately known, a 7 month old puppy rescued from a Los Angeles shelter, 2018 has already been life changing. (more…)
